1 Scope

GB/T 46504-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the range that combines hob, downdraft extractor and oven or steamer in one unit - the cooking performance of each function, the extraction efficiency of a downdraft against a conventional hood, the noise, and the electrical safety of the combination. First edition, in force from 1 May 2026. Issued on 5 October 2025, it has been in force since 1 May 2026.

This document specifies the classification, requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and transportation of integrated electric stoves for household and similar uses (hereinafter referred to as "appliances"). The transportation and storage methods are described, along with the corresponding experimental procedures. This document applies to single-phase appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 250V, and other appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 480V for household and similar applications. The production, inspection and sales of integrated electric stoves. This document does not apply to gas appliances or the gas components of those appliances.
