Scope

GB/T 17713-2022 is the English-translated version of 吸油烟机及其他烹饪烟气吸排装置.

GB/T 17713-2022 specifies the technical requirements for range hoods and other cooking fume extractors with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V. It covers air performance, noise, odour reduction and grease absorption factor, and it describes the matching inspection rules and test methods and the content of marking, packaging, transport and storage, together with a classification of the products.

Appliances installed for industrial and commercial purposes, and appliances installed where corrosive or explosive gases are present, are outside its field.

Five normative annexes give the test methods for air performance, for noise in a semi-anechoic room, for working noise, for odour reduction and for the grease absorption factor, and an informative annex the illuminance test for the lighting lamp.

It replaces GB/T 17713-2011, was issued on 30 December 2022 and has applied since 1 January 2024.
