This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part

1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting. This document is Part 2 of GB/T 22939 "Packaging for Household and Similar Electrical Appliances". GB/T 22939 has been published for the following part.

1 Scope

GB/T 22939.2-2025 is the Chinese national standard on package of household and similar electrical appliances - part 2:particular requirements for range hood, in the field of domestic and commercial equipment, entertainment, sport. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 25 April 2025 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 November 2025. Classification: ICS 97.040.20, CCS Y68. This chapter of GB/T 22939.1-2025 is replaced by the following content. This document specifies the technical requirements for range hood packaging, describes the corresponding test methods, and proposes requirements for the selection of packaging marks. This document applies to cooker hoods for household and similar purposes. This document does not apply to.

3.101 Range hood Electrical appliances that collect polluted air from above the cooktop.

3.102 A household range hood in which a main motor module and a smoke collecting module can be installed independently and the installation distance between the two is adjustable.
