GB/T 4706.107-2024 is the Chinese standard "Safety of household and similar electrical appliances - Part 107: Particular requirements for integrated kitchen appliances".

Its scope clause reads: This chapter of GB/T 4706.1-2024 is replaced by the following content. This document specifies the safety requirements for kitchen appliances for household and similar purposes.

This document applies to single-phase appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 250V and other appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 480V, and is used for installation in kitchens.

Household and similar kitchen appliances.

NOTE 101 Examples of appliances falling within the scope of this document are as follows. ---Integrated stove; ---Electrified cabinets, etc. This document also applies to appliances not intended for normal household use but which may nevertheless present a hazard to the public, such as those intended for use in shops, light industry and agriculture.

Equipment used by non-professionals in the field. This document takes into account the possible mutual impact of the individual facilities (appliances) that make up the overall kitchen appliance after combination.

As far as is practical, the common hazards presented by the appliances covered by this document are those which may be encountered by all persons in and around the home.

However, in general this document does not consider the following situations. --- The following groups of people (including children) cannot use the appliance safely without supervision or guidance. - due to physical, sensory or mental impairment; or - Due to lack of experience and knowledge. --- Children's play equipment.

Note 104.Pay attention to the following. --- For equipment intended for use on vehicles, ships or aircraft, some additional requirements may be required; --- National authorities may impose additional requirements on equipment.

Note 103.This document does not apply to. --- Appliances consisting of portable appliances and hand-held appliances; ---Appliances designed for industrial use; ---Multi-burner stoves and electric stoves (GB/T 4706.22). Its clauses include terms and definitions.
