1 Scope

GB/T 46491-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the baby food maker that steams and blends - the food contact materials and the substances that may migrate from them at steaming temperature, the cleanability of the blade and the jar, the temperature control, and the scald and blade hazards. First edition, in force from 1 May 2026. Issued on 5 October 2025, it has been in force since 1 May 2026.

This document specifies the requirements for infant food processors (hereinafter referred to as "food processors"), as well as inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage. The question describes the corresponding experimental methods. This document applies to the production, inspection, and sale of household baby food processors with a single-phase rated voltage not exceeding 250V.
