This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 22502-2008 "Basic Requirements for the Sale of Fresh Agricultural Products in Supermarkets". Compared with GB/T 22502-2008, except for... Aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

---The definitions of "fresh agricultural products" and "fresh produce area" have been revised (see 3.1, 3.2, and

3.2 in the.2008 edition);

---The names and structure of some chapters have been changed. "Environmental Requirements" has been changed to "Environmental Layout," and "Environmental Protection Requirements" has been changed to "Environmental Sanitation." (See Chapter 4, 4.3; Chapter 4,

4.2 of the.2008 edition); "Infrastructure and Equipment Requirements" has been changed to "Facilities and Equipment" and "Exhibition Facilities". "Equipment" should be changed to "Display Facility Equipment" and "Sanitation and Safety Facility Equipment" should be changed to "Sanitation Facility Equipment" (see Chapter 5, 5.2). 5.5 (Chapter 5, 5.2,

1 Scope

GB/T 22502-2025 is the Chinese national standard on management technical specification for marketing fresh agricultural products in supermarket, in the field of services and company organization. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 29 August 2025 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 March 2026. Classification: ICS 03.100, CCS A10. This document applies to the operation, management, and sales services of supermarkets selling fresh agricultural products.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
