This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1:1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents"

This document replaces GB/T 1992-2006 "Container Terminology": Compared with GB/T 1992-2006, except for structural adjustments and editorial changes

In addition to the dynamics, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) The definitions of "container", "ISO container", "nominal size" and "internal size" have been changed (see 3:1, 3:2, 5:2:1:1, 5:2:2,

3:1, 3:2, 5:2:1:1, 5:2:2 of the:2006 edition);

b) Added the terms and definitions of "load" and "loading" (see 3:5, 3:6);

c) Changed the definition of "bench type container", "insulated container" and "insulated container" (see 4:2:1:2:4, 4:2:2:1,:2006 edition

d) The terms and definitions of "refrigerated container", "built-in mechanical refrigeration/heating container" and "heating container" have been added (see 4:2:2:1:1,

e) Deleted the terms and definitions of "mechanical refrigeration container" and "refrigerated and heated container" (see 4:2:2:1:2 of the:2006 edition,

g) The box size of the container has been changed, and 1EEE and 1EE containers have been added (see Table 2, Table 2 of the:2006 edition);

h) Change the term "rated value" to "rated mass" (see 5:3:1, 5:3:1 of the:2006 edition);

i) Change the term "normal bottom plate bearing capacity" to "bottom plate bearing capacity", and combine the two "bottom plate bearing capacity" expressions (see

5:4:3, 5:4:3, 5:4:4 of the:2006 edition);

j) Changed the definitions of "built-in" and "external" (see 7:2:1:1, 7:2:1:2, 7:2:1:1, 7:2:1:2 of the:2006 edition);

k) Change the term "spacer" to "convex" (see 7:2:2, 7:2:2 of the:2006 edition);

l) Deleted "top air duct", "floor air duct", "gas adjustment interface", "control gas interface", "gas", "liquid", "competent agency", "dangerous goods

q) Changed the term "structural protection" to "physical protection", the term "effective reading distance" to "range", the term "container dynamics"

Change to "cabinet dynamics" and modify its definition (see 8:3:2, 8:3:5, 8:3:7, 8:3:2, 8:3:5, 8:3:7 of the:2006 edition);

r) Change the term "code plate" to "label", and uniformly modify the description of "code plate" in this article to "label" (see 8:3:4,:2006

version 8:3:4);

s) Changed the definition of "electronic protection" and "passing speed" (see 8:3:3, 8:3:6, 8:3:3, 8:3:6 of the:2006 edition):

This document is modified to adopt ISO 830:1999 "Container Terminology":

The technical differences between this document and ISO 830:1999 and their reasons are as follows:

--- Replaced ISO 668:2020 (see Chapter 1, 7:2:1:1, 7:2:1:2) with the normatively quoted GB/T 1413 to adapt to my country's technical

technical requirements;

--- Increased the terms and definitions of "national standard container", "non-standard container" and "intermediate corner fittings" for ease of use (see 3:3, 3:4,

6:1:1:2);

--- Replaced ISO 6346 (see 4:1:2, 5:1:2) with the normatively quoted GB/T 1836 to meet the technical requirements of our country;

--- Replaced ISO 1496-3 (see 4:2:2:2) with the normatively quoted GB/T 16563 to meet the technical requirements of our country;

--- Replaced ISO 10374 (see 8:3:1, 8:3:8) with the normatively quoted GB/T 17894 to meet the technical requirements of our country;

--- Added a column of "Category Code" (see Table 1), which is convenient for comparison;

--- Added the column "external height" (see Table 2), and put the content of the notes in the table;

--- Added 1EEE, 1EE type containers (see Table 2), updated according to ISO 668:2020;

---Delete the "bearing capacity of the bottom plate" and combine it with the "bearing capacity of the bottom plate" (see 5:4:3), the original text is the same term in two cases

Definitions are made under the terms respectively, and this revision is simplified into a combined expression of terms;

---Deleted "mechanical refrigeration container", "refrigerated and heated container", "fork hole", "top air duct", "floor air duct" and "air conditioning interface"

The terms "control gas interface", "gas", "liquid", "competent authority" and "dangerous goods" are conventional and do not need to be rewritten:

3 Container Terms and Definitions

Cargo transport equipment meeting the following conditions:

a) It has sufficient strength and can be used repeatedly within the effective use period;

b) It is suitable for one or more modes of transportation to transport the goods, and there is no need to flip them on the way;

c) It is equipped with a device for quick loading and unloading, so that it is convenient to switch from one mode of transportation to another;

d) It is convenient to fill and unload the goods in the box;

e) The internal volume is greater than or equal to 1m3 (35:3ft3):
