Scope
HG/T 2456.1-2013 is the English-translated version of 涂料用铝颜料 第1部分：铝粉浆.
HG/T 2456.1-2013 is the first part of the Chinese recommended chemical industry standard on aluminium pigments for paints, and it deals with aluminium paste. It classifies the products, sets the requirements for them, and prescribes the test methods, the inspection rules, and the rules for marks, packaging and storage. It applies to aluminium pastes used in paints, in surface treatment agents and in organic solvent systems. The standard is a non-equivalent adoption of ISO 1247-1974, and it works with GB/T 1992-2006, GB/T 3186, GB/T 5211.3, GB/T 6283-2008, GB/T 9271 and the GB/T 20975 series of aluminium analysis methods, among others. It replaces HG/T 2456-1993. Issued on 17 October 2013, it has applied since 1 March 2014.
