HG/T 2456.4-2015 is Part 4 of the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard series on aluminium pigments for paints, and it treats vacuum metallized aluminium. The part states the requirements for the suspension and sets out the sampling, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage that apply to it. It covers suspensions of vacuum metallized aluminium flake less than 100 nm thick, supplied as a raw material and used mainly in the coatings and printing ink industries. Its determinations are made by GB/T 1725, GB/T 3186, GB/T 6682, GB/T 6890, GB/T 8170, the aluminium analysis parts GB/T 20975.3, GB/T 20975.5 and GB/T 20975.8, and YS/T 617.7, and it is applied together with Part 1, HG/T 2456.1-2013. Issued on 14 July 2015, it has applied since 1 January 2016.
