Scope

GB/T 19866-2026 is the English-translated version of 焊接工艺规程及评定的一般原则.

This recommended national standard sets out general rules for the specification and qualification of welding procedures for metallic materials. It is aimed at welding engineers, quality managers, fabricators, inspectors and certification bodies that prepare, review or approve welding procedures for pressure equipment, structures, vehicles, shipbuilding and other fields where welded joints must be controlled.

This edition replaces GB/T 19866-2005.
