This document uses the redrafting method to amend and adopt ISO 15614-7.2016 "Metal Material Welding Procedures and Evaluation of Welding Procedures for Qualification"

Fixed test part 7.surfacing welding.

Compared with ISO 15614-7.2016, the structure of this document has been adjusted. ISO 15614-7.2016 Appendix A has been adjusted to Appendix C.

Compared with ISO 15614-7.2016, this document has technical differences.

The position is marked with a vertical single line (|). A list of the corresponding technical differences and their reasons is given in Appendix A.

This document has also made the following editorial changes.

---Modified the standard name;

--- 6.1.3 added a note to explain the definition of the transition layer;

---Informative Appendix B "Steel Classification Guide" has been added;

1 Scope

This document specifies the test method for surfacing welding procedure qualification.

This document is applicable to processes such as arc welding, gas welding, and electroslag welding.

Note. The transition layer surfacing between dissimilar materials is also considered to comply with GB/T 19869.1 welding procedure qualification requirements.
