Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 17468-2008 "Guidelines for the Selection of Power Transformers". Compared with GB/T 17468-2008, the main technical changes are as follows.

--- The scope and normative references have been modified and improved (see Chapters 1 and 2);

--- Modified and supplemented the conditions of use (see Chapter 3);

--- Modified and supplemented the general principles and technical requirements of the selected transformer (see Chapters 4 and 5);

--- Increased the relevant content of the transformer's ability to withstand short circuits (see Chapter 8);

--- Added relevant content for transformer non-electricity protection (see Chapter 9);

--- Added relevant content for transformer main materials (see Chapter 10);

--- Added relevant content on transformer components and parts (see Chapter 11);

--- Added relevant content for transformer operation and maintenance (see Chapter 12);

--- Added relevant content on transformer selection (see Chapter 13);

--- Added relevant content on transformer technology economic evaluation (see Chapter 14);

--- Increased the content of inquiry and bidding (see Chapter 17).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the general principles and relevant requirements for the selection and use of power transformers.

This standard is applicable to guide the rational selection and use of power transformers in power planning and design. When the user chooses a transformer, You can refer to this standard to determine the type, technical parameters, technical performance, maintenance strategy and contract of the transformer.
