1 Scope

GB/T 22071.1-2018 is the Chinese national standard on test guide for instrument transformers - part 1: current transformers, in the field of electrical engineering. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. GB/T 22071 "Guidelines for Testing of Transformers" is divided into the following sections.

--- Part 1. Current transformers;

--- Part 2. Electromagnetic voltage transformers. This part is the first part of GB/T 22071. This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This part replaces GB/T 22071.1-2008 "Guidelines for Testing of Transformers Part 1. Current Transformers", and GB/T 22071.1- Compared to.2008, the main technical changes are as follows:

--- Revised the normative reference documents (see Chapter 2 and Chapter 2 of GB/T 22071.1-2008);

--- Listed specific test items (see Table 1);

--- Improve the test sequence and give a test sequence diagram (see Figure 1 and

3.2 of GB/T 22071.1-2008);

--- Re-improved and supplemented the relevant test items and test methods (see

3.1 and Chapter 5, Chapter 6, Chapter 7);

--- Increased the relevant test requirements for equipment with maximum voltage of 750kV and 1000kV transformers (see Table 4).
