Scope
GB/T 15370.6-2016 is the English-translated version of 农业拖拉机 通用技术条件 第6部分：四轮船式拖拉机.
GB/T 15370.6-2016 specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, delivery, marking, transport and storage of four-wheel boat tractors: two-axle tractors of at least 18.38 kW rated power with a boat hull, multi-cylinder direct-coupled transmission and independent power take-off, used mainly in paddy fields and also on dry land.
Besides general build requirements (at least four forward gears, independent PTO, interchangeable iron paddy wheels and rubber tyres with hydraulic height adjustment of at least 200 mm, Q235 hull with bottom plate of at least 2.5 mm), it sets noise limits of 88 dB(A) environmental and 95 dB(A) at the operator's position and fuel tank safety to GB 24387.
Performance limits cover PTO power, fuel consumption and torque reserve, drawbar power (at least 0.70 times rated engine power), starting at -5 °C, operation at 40 °C, hydraulic lift force and lifting time, structural specific mass (60 or 65 kg/kW), reliability (MTBF of at least 210 h), minimum ground clearance of 180 mm and a ground contact pressure of 2.5 kPa to 7 kPa in paddy fields.
Test methods follow the GB/T 3871 series and related standards, and factory and type inspection use a four-category nonconformity classification with a GB/T 2828.1 sampling plan.

- Part 1: Under 50 kW wheeled tractors;
- Part 2: 50 kW to 130 kW wheeled tractors;
- Part 3: Over 130 kW wheeled tractors;
- Part 4: Crawler tractors;
- Part 5: Belt-driven wheeled tractors;
- Part 6: Four-wheel boat tractors;
- Part 7: Three-wheel boat tractors.
