Foreword

This document is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2020, Directives for standardization - Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing documents.

This document replaces GB 10395.6-2006, Tractors and machinery for agriculture and forestry - Technical means for ensuring safety - Part 6: Equipment for crop protection. Compared with GB 10395.6-2006, apart from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) the scope has been changed (see Clause 1; Clause 1 of the 2006 edition);

b) the terms and definitions have been changed (see Clause 3; Clause 3 of the 2006 edition);

c) "Technical requirements" has been changed to "Safety requirements and protective measures", and the general requirements and the safety requirements for the different machine types have been detailed (see Clause 4; Clause 4 of the 2006 edition);

d) the general requirements have been changed (see 4.1; Clause 4 of the 2006 edition);

e) the requirements for controls have been changed (see 4.1.3; 4.8 of the 2006 edition);

f) the requirements for the spray tank have been changed (see 4.1.4; 4.2 of the 2006 edition);

g) requirements for the fuel tank have been added (see 4.1.5);

h) the requirements for fans have been changed (see 4.1.6; 4.5.2 of the 2006 edition);

i) the requirements for manual spraying devices have been deleted (see 4.5.3 of the 2006 edition);

j) the requirements for hose connectors have been deleted (see 4.7 of the 2006 edition);

k) requirements for hydraulic systems, further requirements for electrical systems and requirements for battery chargers have been added (see 4.1.8, 4.1.9, 4.1.10);

l) specific requirements for knapsack crop protection equipment have been added (see 4.2);

m) the specific requirements for boom sprayers have been changed (see 4.3; 4.5 of the 2006 edition);

n) specific requirements for self-propelled, mounted, semi-mounted, trailed and vehicle-mounted crop protection equipment have been added (see 4.4);

o) specific requirements for thermal foggers have been added (see 4.5);

p) specific requirements for remote-controlled and driverless crop protection equipment have been added (see 4.6);

q) verification of safety requirements and/or protective measures has been added (see Clause 5);

r) optional accessories have been deleted (see Clause 5 of the 2006 edition);

s) the requirements for safety signs have been changed (see Clause 6; 4.5.1, 4.5.2 and Clause 6 of the 2006 edition);

t) the requirements for the instruction handbook have been changed (see Clause 7; 4.5.1, 4.5.2 and Clause 7 of the 2006 edition).
