Scope

GB 18321-2001 is the English-translated version of 农用运输车噪声限值.

GB 18321-2001 specifies the noise limits for agricultural vehicles: the exterior noise emitted in accelerated running and the noise at the driver's operating position.

It applies to agricultural vehicles.

Table 1 sets the limits in dB(A): four-wheel agricultural vehicles with multi-cylinder diesel engines shall not exceed 84 dB(A) exterior noise in accelerated running and 90 dB(A) at the driver's position, while three-wheel agricultural vehicles and four-wheel agricultural vehicles with single-cylinder diesel engines shall not exceed 85 dB(A) and 92 dB(A).

Noise is measured in accordance with Clause 13 of JB/T 7235-1994, the test methods for four-wheel agricultural vehicles. All the technical content of the standard is mandatory.Issued on 21 March 2001 and in force since 1 June 2001.
