1 Scope

GB 18447-2025 is the Chinese national standard on safety technical specifications for tractors, in the field of agriculture. It carries no /T suffix, which in the Chinese system means compliance is mandatory: a product or a practice within its scope has to meet it to be lawfully made, sold or carried out in China. It was issued on 30 June 2025 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 July 2026. Classification: ICS 65.060.10, CCS T61. This document specifies the safety requirements and/or measures for the design and manufacture of tractors, and the safety operation (including residual risks) provided by the manufacturer. d) Added parking brake and service brake performance requirements for mountain tractors, and parking brake ramps and service brakes for rubber track tractors. Vehicle braking system requirements (see 5.3);

e) Deleted the requirement for the maximum opaque exhaust smoke value of tractors (see

4.1.7 of GB 18447.1-2008, GB 18447.3- 2008,

4.1.2 and GB 18447.3-2008, 4.1.7);

f) The general requirements for control devices have been modified (see 5.4.1,

4.5 of GB 18447.1-2008, and GB 18447.3-2008).
