Scope

GB/T 15077-2008 is the English-translated version of 贵金属及其合金材料几何尺寸测量方法.

GB/T 15077-2008 is the Chinese national standard on geometric size measuring methods of precious metals and their alloy materials, in the field of metallurgy. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 31 March 2008 by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 September 2008. Classification: ICS 77.120.99, CCS H68. This page is published from the official record of the standard held by the Chinese standards administration: the identification, the dates, the classification and the issuing body are taken from there. The clause text, the tables and the numeric limits are in the document itself, which is delivered complete in English translation.

Foreword

This standard replaces GB/T 15077-1994 "precious metals and their alloys geometry measurement method." This standard includes three methods.

--- Direct measurement method;

--- Method 2 weighing method;

--- Method 3 projection and metallographic method. 1 is a method in which amendments to the GB/T 15077-1994 chapter one; Method 2 is a revision of the second part; Method 3 is added section. This standard compared with the original standards, the main changes are as follows:

--- Increased projection and metallographic method;

--- Normative references supplement;

--- Increase principle of the method;

--- Increase direct measurement method Measuring range. soft metal wire (gold and silver), wire and rod diameter greater than 0.1mm, hard metal Wire, wire and rod diameter greater than 0.03mm; soft metal strip (gold and silver) and plate thickness greater than 0.1mm, hard Metal strip and plate thickness greater than 0.05mm; pipe pore size greater than 3.0mm;

--- Original standard gravimetric method measuring range. filament diameter >=0.008mm; foil thickness >=0.003mm; pipe and the wall aperture Respectively >=0.3mm thick and 0.08mm, amended as follows: soft metal filaments (gold and silver) diameter of not more than 0.1mm, hard gold Genus filament diameter of not more than 0.03mm; soft metal foil (gold and silver) is not greater than the thickness of 0.1mm, hard metal foil thickness Not more than 0.05mm; pipe aperture is not more than 3.0mm. The standard proposed by China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association. This standard Nonferrous Metals by the National Standardization Technical Committee. This standard by your research Platinum Ltd. is responsible for drafting. The main drafters of this standard. Wang Jian, Zhou Shiping, Yunnan Zhuang Xiang, XIA Kun, Jiangchuan Gui, Ningde Kui, Zhu Wuxun. This standard replaces the standards previously issued as follows:

This method specifies the determination by direct measurement of precious metals and their alloys plate, strip, tube, wire, line, bar and composites geometry method. This method is suitable for precious metals and their alloys plate, measuring tape, tube, wire, line, bar and composites geometry. Measuring range. soft gold Genus (gold and silver) wire, wire and rod diameter greater than 0.1mm, hard metal wire, wire and rod diameter greater than 0.03mm; soft gold Genus (gold and silver) strip and plate thickness greater than 0.1mm, hard metal strip and plate thickness greater than 0.05mm; aperture large pipe To 3.0mm.
