Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" drafted.

This document replaces GB/T 25942-2010 "Nuclear Grade Silver-Indium-Cadmium Alloy Rods". Compared with GB/T 25942-2010, except for structural adjustment In addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) Added the specifications of nuclear grade silver-indium-cadmium alloy rods (see Table 1);

b) Changed and increased the bar straightness detection spacing and the requirements for the platform used for detection (see 6.3, 4.5 of the.2010 edition);

c) It is added that the range selection of bar roughness comparison test and roughness test shall be performed in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1031 (see 6.7);

d) Added type inspection and its description (see 7.3 and 7.4);

e) Changed the main detection parameters (see B.3.1, B.1.3 of the.2010 edition);

f) The size of the standard sample for artificial injury has been changed (see B.3.3.3, B.1.4 of the.2010 edition).

1 Scope

This document specifies the classification and marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, shipping and distribution of nuclear grade silver-indium-cadmium alloy rods input, storage and accompanying documents and the contents of the order form.

This document applies to nuclear grade silver-indium-cadmium alloy rods (hereinafter referred to as rods).
