What this standard covers

This standard specifies the method for measuring coating color coordinates. This method is only applicable to the determination of the color of the reflected light, which uses normal visual inspection, can show a uniform color (ie, color) coating. Can also be measured by the method specified in this standard does not completely cover the substrate coating opaque (non-transparent system belonging to film). But not for the light emitting film, transparent and translucent coating (e. g.; film for a display or a lamp on the glass), the reflective coating (e. g., for traffic marking coating) and the metallic coating film.
