Scope

GB 15093-2025 is the English-translated version of 国徽.

GB 15093 is the standard for the national emblem of the People's Republic of China: the geometry of the design, the proportions of its elements, the colours and their tolerances, the permitted sizes, and the materials and workmanship for emblems made in metal, plastic or other materials. It is what a manufacturer of official emblems is held to and what an inspector checks, and it is mandatory - the emblem is protected by law, and a non-conforming reproduction is not merely a quality defect. Issued on 28 March 2025, in force since 1 January 2026, replacing GB 15093-2008. This page is published from the official record of the standard held by the Chinese standards administration: the identification, the dates, the classification and the edition it replaces are taken from there. The clause text, the tables and the numeric limits are not reproduced on this page - they are in the document itself, which is delivered in full in English translation.
