Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB 18111-2000 Gas Storage Water Heater. Compared with GB 18111-2000, except for editorial changes, the main The technical changes are as follows:

1 Scope

GB 18111-2021 is the Chinese national standard on gas storage water heater, in the field of construction materials and building. It carries no /T suffix, which in the Chinese system means compliance is mandatory: a product or a practice within its scope has to meet it to be lawfully made, sold or carried out in China. It was issued on 10 August 2021 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 September 2022. This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and model, materials, structure and safety of gas volumetric water heaters (hereinafter referred to as water heaters) Device, performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs and instructions, packaging, transportation and storage. This standard applies to gas volumetric water heaters with a rated thermal load of less than 100kW and a rated volume of less than 500L. The fuel gas referred to in this standard refers to artificial gas, natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas specified in GB/T 13611.
