JB/T 8221-2014 was issued by MIIT on 6 May 2014 and has been in force since 1 October 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 8221-1999.
2 Scope
JB/T 8221-2014 is a recommended machinery industry standard of China that sets out how the performance of time proportioning controllers used in industrial-process control systems is to be evaluated. It describes the method of evaluation for these controllers and is written for time proportioning controllers working under the ordinary service conditions of an industrial-process control system. The standard calls up GB/T 17626.2, GB/T 17626.3, GB/T 17626.4, GB/T 17626.5, GB/T 17626.6, GB/T 18268.1-2010, GB/T 18271.2-2000, GB/T 18271.3-2000 and GB/T 25480-2010. It supersedes JB/T 8221-1999.
