JB/T 7742-2013 was issued by MIIT on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7742-1995.
2 Scope
This standard is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for magnetic drive centrifugal pumps. It opens with terms and definitions, then fixes the types of pump and their basic parameters and sets the technical requirements they have to meet. Test methods and inspection rules follow, along with the requirements for the product package, the marks, and transport and storage. The standard also states what the instruction manual supplied with the pump has to contain.
