JB/T 5336-2008 is the English-translated version of 铜钨电触头材料用钨粉技术条件.

JB/T 5336-2008 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that fixes the technical requirements for the tungsten powder used in copper-tungsten electric contact materials for high-voltage electrical apparatus.

It applies to tungsten powder for copper-tungsten contact materials made by powder mixing, by infiltration or by impregnation of a sintered skeleton. Tungsten powder for the copper-tungsten contact materials of vacuum contactors is expressly outside its scope.

The standard replaces JB/T 5336-1991. The Chinese classification recorded for it is K14 and the international classification 29.120.20.
