2 Method summary
Tungsten powder, tungsten bar, fine (in) tungsten carbide particles with hydrogen peroxide decomposition; blue tungsten with hydrogen peroxide and ammonia decomposition; tungsten oxide, tungstate, paratungstate
Ammonium metatungstate aqueous ammonia decomposition; purple tungsten, tungsten carbide coarse particles after the oxidation of the tungsten trioxide with ammonia decomposition. Hydrogen peroxide, citric acid complex
Together tungsten, in the determination of calcium inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer.
3 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only recognized as analytical reagents and double distilled water.
3.1
Hydrogen peroxide (rho1.10g/mL).
Ammonia 3.2 (1 + 1), the preparation of a MOS ammonia level.
3.3
citric acid solution (500g/L).
3.4 Calcium standard stock solution
Weigh 0.1399g pre-burning calcium oxide 1h through 900 °C (calcium oxide content of not less than
99.99%), placed in a beaker of 250mL, was added 20mL of hydrochloric acid (1 + 1), covered with a watch glass and heated until completely dissolved and cooled to room temperature.
The solution is transferred to 1000mL volumetric flask, dilute with water to volume, and mix. This solution 1mL containing 100µg calcium.
3.5 Calcium standard solution
Pipette 10.00mL calcium standard stock solution (3.4) in 100mL volumetric flask, dilute with water to volume, and mix.
This solution 1mL containing 10µg calcium.
3.6 tungsten substrate
calcium mass fraction of less than 0.0001%.
4 Instrument
Inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer.
5 Sample
5.1
tungsten and shall crush through 125µm sieve.
5.2
average particle size of the tungsten carbide fine particles 1µm ~ 3µm, the average particle size of the tungsten carbide particles is greater than 3µm ~ 9µm, coarse WC particles
The average particle size greater than 9µm.
Step 6 Analysis
6.1 Sample
Weigh 0.5g ~ 1g sample (5), accurate to 0.0001g.
