1 Scope
GB/T 4324 provisions of this part of the tungsten, tungsten powder, tungsten carbide residue and determination of the amount of post-chlorinated volatile trioxide cast tungsten carbide.
This Part applies to tungsten, tungsten powder, the amount of residue was determined after chloride volatility of tungsten carbide and cast tungsten trioxide. Measurement range
0.02% to 0.20%.
2 Method summary
Sample at 750 °C ~ 800 °C through hydrogen chloride gas, so that after the volatile components to escape the weight of the residue determination.
3 Reagents and materials

sulfate (rho1.84g/mL).
HCl 3.2 - Sodium chloride mixture. 2 parts of hydrochloric acid (rho1.19g/mL) of sodium chloride and 1 part by mass ratio.

Explanation.
1 --- hydrogen chloride gas generator;
2 --- buffer gas bottle;
3 --- drying gas bottle (built-in concentrated sulfuric acid);
4 --- gas flowmeter;
5 --- platinum boat (or quartz boat) high 10mm, catchy width 15mm, bottom width of 10mm, catchy length 85mm, Lower length 80mm;
6 --- tube furnace. the effective length of about 300mm;
7 --- quartz reaction tube inner diameter of 19mm ~ 20mm, length 650mm;
8 --- thermocouple pyrometer.
