1 Scope
GB/T 4324 provisions of this part of the determination of the amount of titanium and tungsten.
This Part applies to tungsten powder, tungsten trioxide, tungsten, tungsten blue, purple tungsten, tungsten acid, ammonium metatungstate, ammonium paratungstate determination of titanium content and carbide.
Determination of the range of 0.0005% to 0.012%.
2 Method summary
Sample decomposition with sodium hydroxide (tungsten powder, tungsten, tungsten blue, purple and tungsten carbide pre-treated with hydrogen peroxide decomposition), as the carrier with iron hydroxide
The main body and the separation of tungsten, the insoluble residues and hydroxide precipitate together with the filter paper together in a porcelain crucible after ashing with potassium pyrosulfate melt, melt block salt
Acid - a mixture of ammonium tartrate leaching of iron (III) plus ascorbic acid interference can be eliminated. Titanium with two methane antipyrine to form a stable
Yellow complex is measured at 395nm wavelength spectrophotometer absorbance.
3 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only recognized as analytical grade reagents and distilled or deionized water or equivalent purity.
3.1
potassium pyrosulfate (excellent pure).
3.2
Hydrogen peroxide (rho = 1.10g/mL), pure class distinctions.
3.3
Sodium hydroxide solution (150g/L), with a superior grade of pure sodium hydroxide formulated.
3.4
ascorbic acid solution (100g/L).
3.5 two methane antipyrine solution (50g/L)
5g two antipyrine methane dissolved in 100mL of hydrochloric acid (19) in. Formulated with time.
HCl 3.6 - Ammonium tartrate mixture. 100mL 16mL solution contains hydrochloric acid (rho = 1.19g/mL) and 4g ammonium tartrate.
3.7 iron solution
Weigh 0.863g ferric ammonium sulfate [FeNH4 (SO4) 2 · 12H2O] were dissolved in 100mL of water, and the solution containing 1mL
1mg iron.
3.8
ammonia washings (199).
3.9 Titanium standard stock solution
Weigh 0.1668g previously burning at 600 °C to constant weight of titanium dioxide (wTiO2>=99.99%), placed stone
English crucible. Was added 2g of potassium pyrosulfate to melt at 600 °C transparent, cooled, transferred to the frit 200mL beaker, add 20mL sulfur
Acid (11) was dissolved frit, until completely dissolved and transferred to 1000mL volumetric flask, dilute with water to volume, and mix. This solution containing 1mL
100µg titanium.
3.10 Titanium standard solution
Pipette 10.00mL titanium standard stock solution (3.9) in 100mL volumetric flask, dilute sulfuric acid (119) to
Volume, and mix. This solution 1mL containing 10µg titanium.
