JB/T 1582-2014 was issued by MIIT on 9 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 1582-1996.
2 Scope
The ultrasonic testing of steam turbine wheel forgings is the subject of JB/T 1582-2014, a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard filed under classification J32 and ICS 77.140.85. It describes the pulse-echo method with direct contact, covering the testing procedures, the classification of the work, the measurement and recording of defect signals and the content of the test report.
