1 Foreword
JB/T 1266-2014 was issued by MIIT on 9 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 1266-2002, JB/T 1266-1993.
2 Scope
This standard is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for alloy steel disc and wheel forgings used in steam turbines rated from 25 MW to 200 MW. It sets the ordering requirements for vacuum treated forgings, the manufacturing process, the technical requirements, the inspection rules and test methods, and the inspection and quality certification that accompanies delivery. Rotor discs and impeller wheels of this kind fall under the international classification 77.140.85 for steel forgings.
