1 Foreword

JB/T 10378-2014 was issued by MIIT on 6 May 2014 and has been in force since 1 October 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 10378-2002.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for stationary centrifugal fire pumps. It sets out the terms and definitions for these pumps, their types and basic parameters, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules, and the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage. The standard replaces JB/T 10378-2002.
