Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB/T 9465-2008 "High-altitude work vehicle". Compared with GB/T 9465-2008, except for editorial changes, mainly The technical changes are as follows:

--- Removed the "Basic Parameter Series for Work Vehicles" requirement (see.2008 edition 4.3);

1 Scope

China's national standard for vehicle-mounted mobile elevating work platforms. These are the aerial platforms built onto a truck chassis - the machines used for street lighting, power line work, tree work, signage and building maintenance - and they reach heights up to 100 metres, which is the tallest of any wheeled access equipment. The safety case is entirely about stability and structural integrity, because a person is standing in a basket at the end of a long boom and there is no second chance. Two systems carry that case: the outriggers, which must be deployed and confirmed before the boom moves at all, since the truck's own wheelbase cannot support the overturning moment; and the load moment limiter, which computes what the machine can carry at the current boom position and stops it before it exceeds it. Wind is the other limit, and it governs whether the machine may be used at all on a given day.
