Scope

GB/T 41855-2022 is the English-translated version of 小型游乐设施转椅.

GB/T 41855-2022 is the Chinese national specification for the swivel-chair type of small amusement device.

It fixes the classification and models, the technical requirements and test methods, both the general ones and the special ones for each type of swivel chair, the factory and type inspection rules with sampling and judgement, the site requirements, installation, marking and use and maintenance instructions, and packaging, transport and storage; two normative annexes give the seat impact test and the coefficient of friction test, and an informative annex the modelling method.

It applies to swivel chairs in small amusement facilities for children aged 3 to 14 and does not apply to carousel rides. Issued on 14 October 2022, it has applied since 1 February 2023.

1 Scope

This document specifies the classification and models of small amusement equipment swivel chairs, technical requirements and test methods, inspection rules, site requirements, installation, signs, use and maintenance instructions, packaging, transportation and storage.

This document applies to swivel chairs for small amusement facilities for children aged 3 to 14 years old. This document does not apply to carousel rides.
