Scope

GB/T 41039-2021 is the English-translated version of 现代煤化工项目设计煤种和校核煤种确定通则.

GB/T 41039-2021 sets out the general rules for choosing the design coal and the check coal for gasification, direct liquefaction and other units in modern coal chemical projects.

It gives the basic requirements, the methods for determining both coal types and the way coal samples are taken and tested, drawing on the national coal analysis methods for moisture, proximate analysis, calorific value, sulfur, ash fusibility, reactivity, grindability, slagging and trace elements such as chlorine, fluorine and arsenic.

An informative annex explains how to derive representative coal quality data for coal products still at the exploration stage. It applies to projects with a relatively stable matched coal source, and projects supplied with coal in other ways may also refer to it. It was issued on 31 December 2021 and has applied since 1 July 2022.

1 Scope

This document specifies the basic requirements, determination and determination of coal types for gasification, direct liquefaction and other units in modern coal chemical projects. Methods and taking and testing of samples.
