Scope

NB/T 11439-2023 is the English-translated version of 流化床气化能效计算方法.

NB/T 11439-2023 provides a calculation method for the energy efficiency of fluidized bed gasification, defined as the ratio of total useful energy output to total energy input over a reporting period.

It applies to processes gasifying coal, semi-coke, biomass and similar feedstocks. The method requires a single set of energy conversion factors for inputs and outputs, given in an annex, and bases calculations on normal operating conditions, averaging intermittent utility consumption.

Different processes, such as hot gas and cold gas routes, are compared on the hourly output of effective gas (CO, H2 and CH4) under standard conditions. Bottom ash and fly ash are defined as residue streams. Issued on 28 December 2023, it has applied since 28 June 2024.

Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting.

1 Scope

This document specifies the energy efficiency calculation method for fluidized bed gasification.

This document is applicable to the energy efficiency calculation of fluidized bed gasification process using coal, semi-coke, biomass, etc. as raw materials.

2 Normative references

The contents of the following documents constitute the essential clauses of this document through normative references in this document.

For referenced documents without a date, only the version corresponding to that date applies to this document; for referenced documents without a date, the latest version (including all amendments) applies to this document.

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 41039 and GB/T 31428 and the following apply to this document.

3.1 Fluidized bed gasification

The upward moving airflow causes the carbonaceous particles to be suspended in the gasifier during the gasification process. [Source: GB/T 31428-2021, 5.5, modified]

3.2 Bottom ash

The residue discharged from the bottom of the gasifier.

3.3 Fly ash

Carbonaceous fine particles are entrained by the gasification gas and leave the gasifier and are separated and discharged during the gasification gas purification process.

3.4 Energy efficiency of fluidized bed gasification

Fluidized bed gasification energy efficiency energy efficiency fluidized bed gasification.

The ratio of the total effective energy output to the total energy input of fluidized bed gasification during the statistical reporting period.

4 Basic Provisions

4.1 When calculating energy efficiency, a unified energy conversion factor shall be used for input and output energy, and the energy conversion factor shall comply with the provisions of Appendix A.

4.2 When comparing and evaluating different fluidized bed gasification process technologies (including hot gas process, cold gas process, etc.), the comparison benchmark is the standard The hourly production of effective gas (CO H2 CH4) under standard conditions.

4.3 The calculation of input/output energy should be based on normal operating conditions, and continuous utilities during normal production should also be considered.

Consumption and intermittent utility consumption. Intermittent consumption or output in the normal production process is converted to an average value before being included.
