Scope

NB/T 11438-2023 is the English-translated version of 循环流化床气化炉运行导则.

NB/T 11438-2023 is an operating guideline for circulating fluidized bed gasifiers that turn coal into gas, together with their main auxiliary equipment.

It walks through pre-start checks of the gasifier body, refractory lining, feed, return and slag ports, start-up preparation and start-up itself, then normal gasification operation, adjustment principles, routine inspections and the automatic control, interlock and protection devices.

Separate clauses deal with normal shutdown, emergency and requested fault shutdowns, and troubleshooting of the feeding, slag discharge and ash conveying systems, with an informative annex on typical equipment failures, causes and remedies.

It applies to routine operation after commissioning and may guide other fluidized bed gasifiers. Issued on 28 December 2023, it has applied since 28 June 2024.
