3 Classification
3.1 Classification
The classification of motors shall refer to Appendix A.
3.2 Model designation
The model designation of motors shall refer to Appendix A, or be specified in the product-specific technical specifications.
3.3 Basic structural and mounting types
The basic structural and mounting types of motors shall comply with the provisions of Clause 4 in GB/T 7346-2015 or the product-specific technical specifications.
3.4 Rated voltage
The preferred rated voltages for motors are 3 V, 4.5 V, 5 V, 6 V, 9 V, 12 V, 24 V, 27 V, 28 V, 36 V, (42 V), 48 V, 60 V, 90 V, 100 V, 110 V, 120 V, (180 V), (200 V), 220 V; alternatively, they shall comply with the provisions of the product-specific technical specifications.
3.5 Circuit diagrams
Figure 1 shows the circuit diagram for permanent magnet motors; Figure 2 shows the circuit diagram for electromagnetic motors. For electromagnetic motors, the rated excitation voltage shall be applied prior to energizing the motor for operation.
4 Technical requirements and test methods
4.1 Appearance
4.1.1 Technical requirements
The surface of the motor shall be free from rust, dents, scratches, peeling of the coating layer. The color and markings shall be clear and unambiguous. Fasteners shall be securely connected; lead wires or terminals shall be intact and undamaged.
4.1.2 Test methods
Visually inspect the appearance of the motor and its accessories.
4.2 Nameplate
