GB 17799.3-2023 — This document is a general electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) emission standard and is only applicable to unpublished related dedicated products or product-type EMC emissions. Standard situation. The emission requirements specified in this document apply to electrical and electronic equipment used in residential environments (see 3.1.14) and also to Electrical and electronic equipment used in other locations that is not included in the scope of IEC 61000-6-4 or IEC 61000-6-8. The purpose of this document is to ensure that all equipment used in residential, commercial and light industrial environments is covered by this document or IEC 61000-6-8. In case of disagreement, the requirements of this document shall apply. This document specifies the requirements for conducted and radiated emissions tests in the frequency range up to 400 GHz. Its purpose is to provide the electromagnetic loops specified above. The tests specified in this document do not cover all disturbance phenomena but only those relevant to this environment. Disturbance phenomena associated with operating the equipment within the environment listed in the document. The emission requirements of this document do not apply to intentional emissions from radio transmitters and their harmonics as defined by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). Note 1.This document has no safety requirements. NOTE 2 In special cases, the limits specified in this document may not provide adequate protection. For example, sensitive receiving equipment is used in the vicinity of the equipment. In some cases, additional improvement measures may be necessary. NOTE 3 This document does not include disturbances arising from equipment failures. This document replaces GB 17799.3-2012 "Generic Electromagnetic Compatibility Standard - Emissions in Residential, Commercial and Light Industrial Environments" and
Compared with GB 17799.3-2012, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) Added some terms and their definitions (see 3.1.10 to 3.1.16);
b) Added some abbreviations such as AE, AAN, CATV, CM, DC-AN, DSL, DVR, FSOATS, GCPC, IEC, IEEE,
ISDN, ISM, ITE, LAN, MME, PSTN, RF, TV, UPS, USB, V-AMN, V-AN, xDSL, delta-AN (see
Chapter 3);
c) Added equipment classification (see Chapter 4);
d) The measurement and test conditions have been changed (see Chapter 5, Chapter 4 of the.2012 edition);
e) User documentation has been modified (see Chapter 6, Chapter 5 of the.2012 edition);
f) Applicability has been changed (see Chapter 7, Chapter 6 of the.2012 edition);
g) The measurement uncertainty has been changed (see Chapter 9, Chapter 7 of the.2012 edition);
h) Deleted the application of limit values in mass production consistency testing (see Chapter 9 of the.2012 edition);
i) Changed the standard compliance (see Chapter 10, Chapter 10 of the.2012 edition);
j) The launch test has been changed (see Chapter 11, Chapter 11 of the.2012 edition);
