Scope

GB/T 35814-2018 is the English-translated version of 林业生物质原料分析方法 样品处理方法.

GB/T 35814-2018 describes how samples of forestry biomass raw materials are prepared before analysis. It states the general principle of sample processing: drying, crushing and screening turn the sample into an analytical sample that represents the original one, without changing its composition or quality characteristics.

It also gives the terms used, such as forestry biomass and sample division, the reagents and materials, among them analytical-grade acetone and dry ice with a purity of not less than 90%, the apparatus, three sample handling methods labelled A, B and C, how samples are stored and what the test report contains.

It applies to the processing of forestry biomass samples and takes its definitions from GB/T 21923-2008 and GB/T 30366-2013. It was issued on 6 February 2018 and has applied since 1 September 2018.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of sample processing forestry biomass raw materials, sample processing general principles, reagents and materials, apparatus and equipment, Sample Handling Methods (A, B, C), Sample Storage and Test Report.

This standard applies to forestry biomass samples processing.

2 Normative references

The following documents for the application of this document is essential. For dated references, only the dated version applies to this document. For undated references, the latest edition (including all amendments) applies to this document.

3 Terms and definitions

GB/T 21923-2008 and GB/T 30366-2013 define the following terms and definitions apply to this document. For convenience Use, the following repetition lists some of the terms and definitions GB/T 21923-2008 and GB/T 30366-2013.

3.1 Forestry biomass

Biomass produced during forestry production and processing. Mainly include forest products (such as wood, bamboo, rattan, etc.), forestry residues (such as branches Ah, sawdust, sawdust, tops, skin and truncated heads, harvesting residues and processing residues such as nutshell and kernels, papermaking waste, and discarded wood) Energy forest. [GB/T 30366-2013, Definition 2.1.3]

3.2 Sample division

The sample or sample is divided into representative, separate part of the sample preparation process. [GB/T 21923-2008, Definition 3.82]

4 Sample processing

The main purpose of sample processing is to process the sample into analytical samples that represent the characteristics of the original sample by drying, crushing, screening and other steps.

The principle of sample handling is that the composition and quality characteristics of the original sample do not change during sample processing.

5 Reagents and materials

5.1 Acetone, analytical grade.

5.2 Dry ice (solid carbon dioxide). Purity not less than 90%.
