1 Scope

GB/T 47049-2026 is the Chinese national standard covering the ground layer of fire detection - the sensors, weather stations and patrol reporting that watch a forest or grassland from within, and the communications that get an alarm out of a place with no coverage. First edition, in force since 1 May 2026, with GB/T 47058-2026 on video monitoring. It was issued on 28 January 2026 and has been in force since 1 May 2026, as a first edition. The document is under the responsibility of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration. 3.1.1 A ground-based sensor network capable of detecting, identifying, alarming, and locating surface fires in forests and grasslands.

3.1.2 surface fire detector Sensing devices that use infrared, ultraviolet and visible light technologies to detect, identify and warn of surface fires in forests and grasslands.
