GB/T 36056-2018 is a method for determining the soluble sugars in forestry biomass raw materials such as wood, bamboo, rattan and forestry residues. It applies to xylose, arabinose, fructose, mannose, glucose and sucrose.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, principles, reagents and materials, instruments and design of methods for the determination of soluble sugars in forestry biomass raw materials. 3 Terms and definitions

3.1 Forestry biomass
Biomass produced during forestry production and processing.
