GB/T 24615-2009 is the English-translated version of 紧压茶生产加工技术规范.

GB/T 24615-2009 fixes the basic requirements for the production and processing of brick tea. Clause 1 gives the application in a phrase the draft leaves broken, the production and processing of raw materials pressed products, so the exact boundary between the finished pressed teas and their raw materials cannot be stated from the page.

Clause 2 cites GB/T 191 for pictorial packaging signs, GB 2762 for contaminants in food, GB 2763 for maximum pesticide residue limits in food, GB 7718 for prepackaged food labels, GB 11680 for the hygiene of food packaging paper, GB 19965 for the fluoride content of brick tea, GBZ 1 for the design hygiene of industrial enterprises, NY/T 5018 for green food tea production, SB/T 10035 for the sales packaging of tea and SB/T 10036 for the transport packaging of pressed tea, an order of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of 2005 on the supervision of quantitatively packaged goods, and all nine parts of GB/T 9833, which cover flower brick tea, black brick tea, Fu tea, Kang brick tea, Tuocha, tight tea, Jinya gold tip tea, rice brick and brick tea.

Clause 3 holds a single definition, whose term name the draft does not print, for the raw materials of the various pressed products: the black maocha used for Fu brick, black brick and flower brick tea, the old green tea used for green brick tea, the broken black tea used for rice brick, the drying green raw tea used for Tuocha, and the raw materials for Kang brick tea and gold tip tea.
