Scope
GB/T 23832-2022 is the English-translated version of 商品条码 服务关系编码与条码表示.
GB/T 23832-2022 is the Chinese national standard for numbering and bar code marking of service relationships in the commodity bar code system. It specifies the technical requirements for the global service relation number and the service relation instance number, for their bar code representation and symbols.
The first is an 18-digit code: a manufacturer identification code of 7 to 10 digits, a service reference code and a one-digit check code; the second is a numeric code of variable length, up to 10 digits, used together with it.
Bar codes use GS1-128 or a GS1 two-dimensional code - QR code, data matrix code, Han Xin code - with application identifiers AI (8017) and AI (8019). Annexes give the check code calculation and an application example.
It replaces GB/T 23832-2009, was issued on 14 October 2022 and has applied since 1 May 2023.

- ADD the relevant content of "Numbering of service relation instance" (see 4.2);
- ADD the barcode representation of QR code and URL data structure (see Chapter 5);
- ADD the application identifiers AI (8017) and AI (8019), respectively representing the global service relationship provider and service relation instance (see Chapter 5);
- CHANGE the size and grade requirements (see 6.1; 6.1 of the 2009 edition);
- ADD the detection and quality evaluation of QR code (see 6.2).
