3 Terms and Definitions

For the purposes of this Document, the following terms and definitions apply.

3.1 Document Documents, certificates, and receipts that are used for recording, storing, transmitting information, or having archival value or evidentiary effect. NOTE: It includes paper or electronic forms.

3.2 Global document type identifier Codes that are used to identify document types and specific documents. NOTE: In

6.3.10 of GB/T 16986-2018, the application identifier corresponding to the global document type identifier is "253". This Document changes "global document type code" to "global document type identifier".
