Scope
GB/T 37058-2018 is the English-translated version of 图书馆编码标识应用测试.
GB/T 37058-2018 sets out how library books, shelves and reader cards are coded and identified, and how the RFID tags that carry those codes are specified and tested.
For each of the three it gives the code identification rules, with the GS1 identifier structures and their RFID storage set out in normative annexes.
It then fixes the technical requirements of library RFID tags (appearance, dimensions, materials, frequency, air interface, performance and position) and the performance required in typical scenarios: label conversion, shelf inventory, book borrowing and access control.
Test methods are given for the tags and for those scenarios. It applies to the data encoding, selection, use and testing of library RFID book labels, shelf labels and reader cards. It was issued on 28 December 2018 and has applied since 1 July 2019.
