Scope

HG/T 2406-2014 is the English-translated version of 通用型压敏胶标签.

HG/T 2406-2014 is the Chinese chemical industry standard for general purpose pressure-sensitive adhesive labels. It first classifies these labels and then sets out their technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage. Its scope takes in the range of paper and film label materials made for general use. The checks are carried out with the standards it quotes, among them GB/T 450, GB/T 2792-1998, GB/T 4851-1998, GB/T 7125-1999, GB/T 22396 and HG/T 4139. It replaces the 2002 edition, HG/T 2406-2002. Issued on 12 May 2014, it has applied since 1 October 2014.
