Scope

GB/T 1955-2019 is the English-translated version of 建筑卷扬机.

GB/T 1955-2019 is the Chinese national standard for construction winches. It gives the classification, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the rules for marking and storage.

It applies to motor-driven winches used in building and installation work, and winches with other drives can use it for reference; it also covers winches that move a load up, down, horizontally or on a slope.

It names the free-fall winch, the fast winch above 25 m/min, the slow winch at or below 25 m/min and the single-drum winch. Its annexes fix the method for determining the working level, the design calculation of the general mechanical parts and of the drum rope parameters, and the classification of faults in the reliability test.

It replaces GB/T 1955-2008, was issued on 18 October 2019 and has applied since 1 September 2020.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 1955-2008 "Building Windlass". The main technical changes compared with GB/T 1955-2008 as follows.

--- Revised the scope of application of the winch (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 2008 edition);

--- Removed the terms and definitions of high-speed hoist and speed hoist (2008, 3.3, 3.6);

---Modified the definition of fast winch and slow winch (see 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 2008, 3.4, 3.5);

--- Increased the representation of the hoist model code (see 4.2);

--- Increased the minimum breaking force coefficient of different cores of steel core wire rope (see Table 5);

--- Increased the braking torque requirements for non-slip hoist brakes of M6 and above (see 5.4.2);

---Modified the requirements for the strength of the fixed end of the wire rope (see 5.8.4, 5.8.4 of the 2008 edition);

---Modified the conditions for setting the rope arranging device (see 5.9.3, 5.9.3 of the 2008 edition);

--- Modified the minimum number of work cycles for the hoist reliability test (see 5.13.1, 5.13.1 for the 2008 version);

---Modified the safety factor for the calculation of welded reels (see D.2, D.1 of the 2008 edition);

--- Removed the requirements for the abolished standards JG/T 5035, JG/T 5066 (2008 version 5.6.2, 6.5.8).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and storage of construction hoists (hereinafter referred to as "hoists").

This standard applies to winches driven by electric motors used in construction and installation projects, and winches driven by other methods can also be used for reference.

This standard also applies to hoists with up, down, horizontal and tilting moving loads.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Construction winch

A machine used in construction and installation engineering to drive a load by driving a reel with a wire rope through a transmission device.

3.1.1 Sliding hoist

A hoist that disconnects the power between the motor and the reel and uses the gravity of the load itself to achieve a load reduction.

3.1.2 Fast winch

Winch with rated speed greater than 25m/min.

3.1.3 Slow winch

A hoist with a rated speed less than or equal to 25 m/min.

3.1.4 Single reel winch

There is only one reel of the reel.
