GB/T 25643-2025 is the English-translated version of 道路施工与养护机械设备 路面铣刨机.

GB/T 25643-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the cold planer — the drum and the tool holders, the milling width and depth and the grade and slope control, the cutting production rate, the conveyor and the loading, the dust suppression and the operator's noise and vibration exposure, and the tests on the machine. It replaces GB/T 25643-2010, with the hot recycling plant standard GB/T 25641-2025. In force from 1 March 2026. Issued on 29 August 2025, it has been in force since 1 March 2026, replacing GB/T 25643-2010.

Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 25643-2010 "Road construction and maintenance machinery and equipment road milling machines" and GB/T 25643-2010 In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) The terms and definitions have been changed (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the 2010 edition);

b) Added environmental requirements for normal operation of milling machines (see 5.1.1);

c) Added transport quality requirements and test methods (see 5.2.2, 6.2.3);

d) The milling depth deviation requirements have been changed (see 5.2.5, 5.2.4 of the 2010 edition);

e) The maximum gradeability requirements for crawler milling machines have been modified (see 5.2.7 and 5.2.6 of the 2010 edition);

f) The minimum turning diameter requirement has been changed (see 5.2.8, 5.2.7 of the 2010 edition);

g) Added minimum milling diameter requirements and test methods (see 5.2.9 and 6.8);

h) The maximum travel speed and maximum operating speed deviation requirements have been modified (see 5.2.10, 5.2.8 of the 2010 edition);

i) The leakage requirements have been changed (see 5.2.13, 5.2.13 of the 2010 edition);

j) The requirements for the settlement of the fuselage lifting cylinders have been modified (see 5.2.15 and 5.2.17 of the 2010 edition);

k) The requirements for milling drum have been changed (see 5.3, 5.2.11 of the 2010 edition);

l) Changed the requirements for hydraulic oil solid particle contamination levels (see 5.5.3, 5.2.14 of the 2010 edition);

m) Added control system requirements (see 5.6);

n) The safety and environmental protection requirements have been changed (see 5.7, 5.3 of the 2010 edition);

o) The stall protection device test method was deleted (see 6.5.3 of the 2010 edition);

p) The test method for the side tilt angle of transverse milling has been changed (see 6.6.4, 6.5.8 of the 2010 edition);

q) The noise test method has been changed (see 6.12, 6.10 of the 2010 edition);

r) The sealing performance test method has been changed (see 6.14, 6.11 of the 2010 edition);

s) Deleted the requirements for drivers and maintenance personnel in the reliability test (see 6.17.2 of the 2010 edition);

t) The instruction manual requirement has been deleted (see 8.1.3 of the 2010 edition).

1 Scope

This document specifies the types, basic parameters and technical requirements of road milling machines (hereinafter referred to as "milling machines"), and describes the corresponding test methods.

The law stipulates inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage.

This document applies to the manufacture of self-propelled crawler-mounted milling machines and wheel-mounted milling machines.

This document does not apply to pull-type milling machines, walk-behind milling machines, and milling implements attached to other machines.
