GB/T 19466.2-2025 is the English-translated version of 塑料 差示扫描量热（DSC）法 第2部分：玻璃化转变温度和台阶高度的测定.
Differential scanning calorimetry is a standard thermal analysis technique for plastics, and this standard, Part 2 of the DSC series, deals with the determination of glass transition temperature and step height. These are properties that describe how an amorphous or partly crystalline polymer changes behaviour with temperature. It is a recommended national standard.
Polymer producers, compounders, materials researchers, failure analysis labs and quality control teams in plastics processing can use it. Laboratories operating DSC instruments will see it as the method reference for this particular measurement.
The standard was issued on 2 December 2025 and took effect on 1 July 2026. It replaces GB/T 19466.2-2004. Laboratories whose procedures still refer to the earlier edition should review them against the current text, since the earlier document is more than twenty years older.

GB/T 19466.2-2025 is a recommended national standard (GB/T) of the People's Republic of China, issued on 2 December 2025 by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Standardization Administration of China, with effect from 1 July 2026.
This edition replaces GB/T 19466.2-2004.
The document adopts an international standard (ISO or IEC).
It is under the responsibility of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation.
