Scope
GB/T 18759.8-2017 is the English-translated version of 机械电气设备 开放式数控系统 第8部分：试验与验收.
GB/T 18759.8-2017 is Part 8 of the Chinese national series on open numerical control (ONC) systems for the electrical equipment of machines and deals with their testing and acceptance.
It applies to ONC systems used in metalworking, textile, printing, sewing, plastics and rubber, and woodworking machinery. For testing, it sets the test types, the general test conditions, test preparation and execution, and the test content and methods.
For acceptance, it gives the basis and conditions for accepting a system, the parties involved and their responsibilities, and the acceptance process. Informative annexes provide a test work guide and software testing methods.
It draws on the other parts of GB/T 18759 and on standards for enclosure protection, fire hazard testing and the electrical safety of machinery. It was issued on 31 July 2017 and has applied since 1 February 2018.
